BOB SEGER CONCERT TICKETS BENEFIT WOMEN OF TOMORROW MENTOR & SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM | 04/11/13
DETROIT, MI. — The Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program will host its Spring 2013 Fundraiser in a large private suite for a concert by Detroit Rock n’ Roll legend Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band on April 11, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The non-profit, which provides mentoring and scholarship opportunities to at-risk young girls in public high schools, is selling tax-deductible tickets to the nearly sold-out concert, which will include a private reception in a VIP suite with amenities such as private restrooms, 2 private cash bars, complimentary wine, soda and heavy appetizers.

Detroit, MI – On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program Mentees from Cody Detroit Institute of Technology will participate in a special mentoring session to thank The Detroit Tigers for their continuous support of the program and to provide encouragement as the Tigers enter the World Series the following day. During this special mentoring session, Mentees will be making personalized thank you signs that will be delivered to the Tigers as a token of good luck.

October 4, 2012 – (DETROIT, MI) – Close to 150 VIP and celebrity guests turned out to cheer on the Detroit Tigers and support the Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program’s first Detroit area fundraiser. “Go to Bat for Detroit’s Young Women of Tomorrow” was held yesterday, October 3, 2012 at the Tigers, Comerica Park, for the last game of the regular season. 1984 Tigers World Series champions Dan Petry & Dave Rozema joined former sports journalist, Event Honorary Chair & Women of Tomorrow Mentor, Karie Dombrowski, to greet the crowds and raise money for Women of Tomorrow Mentees, while they cheered on Miguel Cabrera as he became the first player in 45 years to win the Triple Crown.

(DETROIT, MI) – Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program (WOT), will host its first Detroit fundraiser, “Go to Bat for Detroit’s Young Women of Tomorrow” at the Detroit Tigers, Comerica Park on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 6pm. The event will kick-off the organization’s second year of mentoring at-risk young girls in Metropolitan Detroit public high schools, and help raise funds for the program, as it doubles the number of partnering high schools from 11 to 22. It will also highlight the program’s successful first year.

(DETROIT, MI) – Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program (WOT) launches its second year of mentoring at-risk girls in Metropolitan Detroit high schools, by doubling the number of schools and girls served this year. New, incoming Mentors will join current WOT Mentors, school officials, and supporters for the annual kick-off event at the Miller Canfield Law Offices on Thursday, September 13 at 6pm. Attendees will learn about the organization’s success over the past year, as well as the program’s expansion to 22 Detroit area high schools, serving approximately 500 at-risk girls this year through its unique program which pairs small groups of girls with highly accomplished professional women.
